aryan826
OK so i had the skyrim razor 1911 file in staled on my computer, and then installed mod manager and directed it to were i had saved skyrim. i installed like 200 mods and like 5 months later i decided that pirate copys weren't relay for me so i bought the actual game and its current 2 dlc's of steam. i herd some where that steam saves your game in steam apps/common so after i installed skyrim i dropped my old data file in steam apps/common. after that i redirected NMM to the new location and it was fine, but when i ran skyrim from the steam launcher to update it and active the workshop mods, i noticed that skse was no longer in the bottom corner of my in game menu/journal thing. and the animations were frozen. i quit and launched from NMM when i got in game it said in the journal thing that my skyrim was now version 1.7 (befor it was 1.8) and SKSE was running.any one know were i need to put my skse file to work because it is already in the steam apps/common aria and i have no idea what to do now any help or advice would be great. Guss
I would reinstall the skse file, also coping the razor 1911 to the steam version i would only copy the Skyrim's .bsa and then verify game cache and go from there. Would suck but freshly installing everything would do it :) . if you copied all the files from razors since it was cracked it will have issues. then remove all razor's skyrim stuff from the computer. bben46
Your \data file and saves are in entirely different locations data is in \steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\DataSaves are outside of steam - typically in C:\users\your user name\My documents\my Games\Skyrim\Saves Be sure you completely remove the pirate version before installing the steam version. Pirates are notorious for causing problems with legitimate games as they don't care if they screw things up with their changes. Some of those changes could possibly be in the Windows registry. Completely removing the game may not remove those entries - Using a registry cleaner after removing the old version, reboot, use the cleaner, reboot again. Then install. I use the free version of ccleaner. Be sure to read the instructions, and back up all passwords as if you check the wrong thing a registry cleaner will remove them along with the rest of your cookies.
