ENB + 2k Textures + tweaks?

Hi,

I'm new to modding skyrim. I tried out a pre modded skyrim with a bunch of mods for game and video enhancements. I've decided to setup and get the best graphics quality I can.

Due to never doing this before, I'm confused over what graphics mods I can use with what and hoping someone can clear this up.

I have seen that the ENB series offers a good increase and graphics quality so I'm set on using that along with the superb ENB-RL which seems to be held with high regards.

Then I come accross the 2k texture pack. Am I able to mix these 2 together or does ENB change textures as well?

I'm not entirely sure how ENB mods the game and what it changes, so it's hard to work out what I can stick on with it.

Also, last question!

What do I do about the actualy skyrim Graphics settings. Do I just choose the normal stuff of what I usually play on or do I have to adjust the settings to a default spec for the mods to work?

Thanks in advance!

ENB is most how the light works, can be some more added like Letterboxing, i recommend you have highest possible grafic on, aspecially shadows, may be some flickering otherwise in the shadow areas or on your char, and it does not retexture or anything like that, the huge diffrence you are seeing is just better light, the vanilla light is just that bad

also i am recomending using only ENB no other grafic enhancer, to get as high FPS as possible, otherwise some screen flickering can happen if the FPS gets to low

am myself using:

ENBSeries v0.119 by Boris Vorotsov

And

Cinematically Realistic ENB

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20654#

with SSAO - SSIL off

Hope al this was of some help, ask on if there are anything else, happy modding mate!

ENB doesn't mod the game in the traditional sense of changing existing files, so it will work with any type of mod. It runs code alongside the game to perform post-process graphics effects. For graphics options, check the readme, there's a few manual changes to the .ini to make or ENB to work properly.

If you could tell us what graphics card and cpu you have that would make it easier for us to recommend things for you. I am using Project ENB and it looks great on my GTX 680

Every ENB looks different on every computer so I'd suggest trying several until you find one that really looks good. Make sure you read the readme files and the descriptions so you know if any other files are included.

I also recommend a few key mods for really making skyrim look better:

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3385 Lush Trees

If you want further advice, feel free to PM me.

I have an i7 2600k @ 4.6ghz with SLI 3gb 580s along with 8gb RAM.

No point giving anymore!

I have been using Sharpshooters extreme grpahics ENB as it gives WAY better performance than superl3.

I'm find that things are too bright though and night isn't dark enough.

Just download this torrent and unpack archive to Skyrim folder.

It is my collection of pretty much all the best textures from Nexus combined with Realistic Hope ENB (the best imho), some graphic and sound tweaking mods, +few immersion mods. All I could find to make picture quality in Skyrim remarkable. Only for high end PCs (need at least 580 GTX).
