Western Themes

I don't know about anybody else, but for me, the lawlessness of the wasteland reminds me of the old West (late 1800s). I think there should be more western themes. One in particular I was wondering about, was Mexican Ponchos. At first I thought this could easily be done, but then I realized there might be some conflict with the arms and the way the poncho covers them.

Another thing is more old weapons (revolvers, Repeating rifles). Yes, I know they don't necessarily fit into the timeframe of Fallout 3, but I just think it would be kind of cool.

And I'm pretty damn sure this is impossible, but what the hell, I'll ask anyway.

Showdowns. DRAW! that kind of thing. Ideas on that, shoot it down, whatever.

THANKS FOR READING :thanks:

You actually get showdowns all the time.

1. Meet bad guy.

2. Hit the VATS key.

3. Whistle that song for a bit.

4. Fire.

Haha. I guess you could use VATS as a makeshift showdown.

I don't think you have to ask for old-skool gunz. Those will come with time, especially when it becomes well-documented on how to get new weapon models in-game like Oblivion.

I personally would like to have the Winchester Model 1892 rifle that was featured in the old western called "The Rifleman"....in real life and in this game. ;)
