Dragonsreach water glitch

Hello,

I'm a new guy to the forums, and I was tempted to register here by seeing all those Skyrim Mods videos on Youtube :)

I've been playing Skyrim since day 1 btw.

Recently I installed a bunch of mods, not too many though (using Nexus Mod Manager)

I searched the Skyrim forums for a similar problem as mine, I wasn't able to find anything. So,

I have this strange glitch @ Dragonsreach...

Does anyone know the cause of this one?

I want to avoid a clean re-install of the game, that would suck..

List your mods? Are you using BOSSfor load order? If not, download and run that first (its not a mod, you download like a regular program) Make sure to read the log it generates, correct any warnings or other messages it gives you. That may fix it. If not, then copy/paste the BOSS log here.

That part of the water under the bridge is really misplaced.

Any chance I could force it back to it's original place using the ingame console? :mellow:

 

I installed BOSS btw, says something about "dirty edits" and recommends "TES5Edit cleaning" in

Update.esm

Dawnguard.esm

ClimatesOfTamriel.esm

Realistic Lighting.esp

Since you don't have that many mods, try disabling them. Is the problem now gone?<br><br>Then go back and re-enable them in groups of 4 or 5. If with one group the problem suddenly reappears, you can narrow it down. I doubt CoT or the lighting mod will turn out to be the problem, more likely one of the lesser-known mods you're running, looks like an accidental edit. Edited December 1, 2012 by acidzebra

Strange thing was that in my 2nd save (new character), the part of the water was in its correct position.

Thankfully I was able to do something more easier, than to enable-disable the mods, I used the ingame console to change its position and angles, and now it's back where it should be :D
