darkedgeblade
So I'm having a really annoying problem with my Modded Skyrim SE.Normally the game runs at a solid 59~ FPS both indoors and outdoors, but when I leave an interior (Dungeons Only, Houses are ok) My FPS Drops to about 10 FPS.This will only go away if I save, exit and reload. Whats even weirder is that If I move my character, the FPS climbs to about 30-40, but standing still, FPS sinks back to 10FPS.Disabling Rudy ENB makes no difference on FPS either. Starting a new character seems to have cured it, but after reaching lvl 5, the glitch returned.I've read that some people with a similar issues solved it by decreasing shadow quality, but for me that did not solve this issue.I went through my modlist with SSEedit to clean them up. Sorted through loot and resolved all loot suggestions, and Creator a Mator Smash Patch for my modlist. At this point Im pretty stumped. Hoping that someone could share any insight on this strange issue. My Specs:Processor: IntelĀ® Core i5-6600 CPU @ 3.30GHz, 3301 Mhz, 4 CoresGPU: RTX2080TiMemory: 40Gb931GB SSD DriveModlist:Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmDawnguard.esmHearthFires.esmDragonborn.esmRSkyrimChildren.esmUnofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.espMajesticMountains_Landscape.esmFISS.espWM_WidgetMod.eslSMIM-SE-Merged-All.espELFX - Exteriors.espEnhancedLightsandFX.espSkyrimIsWindy.espVeydosebrom.espImmersive Sounds - Compendium.espWeapons Armor Clothing & Clutter Fixes.espObsidian Weathers.espMajesticMountains.espdD - Enhanced Blood Main.espdD-Medium Script Range.espSkyUI_SE.espCloaks.espCloaks - Dawnguard.espCloaks - USSEP Patch.espMortal Enemies.espSupreme and Volumetric Fog for Obsidian Weathers and Seasons.espS3DRocks.espDustEffectsSSE.espBlendedRoads.espSoul Gems Glow When Full.espFusax2.espQuickLight.espQw_ISC_USSEP Patch.espQw_WACCF_ISC Patch.espaMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.espRaceMenu.espRaceMenuPlugin.espFNIS.espXPMSE.espSkyHUD.espAMatterOfTime.espWM_WidgetMod.espImmersive Dragon Sounds.espRebirth Monster.espHigh Level Enemies.espHigh Level Enemies - Dawnguard.espHigh Level Enemies - Dragonborn.espUltimateCombat.espNoBSAIProjectileDodge.espDiverseDragonsCollectionSE.espRSChildren.espKSHairdosSMP.espKSWigsSMP.espKS Hairdo's.espImproved Eyes Skyrim - Vamp.espImproved Eyes Skyrim.espCBBE.espBeards.espThe Ordinary Women.espBijin NPCs.espGuards_Armor_Replacer.espRelationship Dialogue Overhaul.espImmersive Music Replacer.espScopedBows.espMales of Skyrim.espBijin Warmaidens.espBijin Wives.espSeductress Serana.espScopedBows_ArrowTweaks.espScopedBows_Bijin Patch.espKatanaCrafting.espAutoHideAmmo.espDSHg - Circlets.espDSHg - Hats.espDSHg - Helmets.espDSHg - UpdateDB.espDSHg - UpdateDG.espCloaks_SMP_Patch.espQw_CloaksOfSkyrim_USSEP Patch.espQw_WACCF_CloaksOfSkyrim Patch.espQw_WACCF_RSChildren Patch.espApocalypse - Magic of Skyrim.espFireBurns.espSummermyst - Enchantments of Skyrim.espEnchanting Freedom.espVisualAnimatedEnchants.espAnimated Enchantments.espRDO - USSEP Patch.espSerana Dialogue Edit.espUIExtensions.espSkyRem - Cori.espRealisticRegeneration.espHardcoreSaving.espDragon Soul Relinquishment.esp72hours.espArs Metallica.esphonedmetal.espAlchemyAdjustments.espPotions.espAlchemyAdjustments - AwesomePotions Patch.espAlchemyAdjustments - DistinctiveRareIngredients Addon.espVioLens SE.espDual Hand Combo Hotkeys.espDual Wield Parrying_RandomAttacks_Dawnguard.espTKDodge.espHitStop.espUltimateCombatSekiro.espAndromeda - Unique Standing Stones of Skyrim.espOrdinator - Perks of Skyrim.espApocalypse - Ordinator Compatibility Patch.espSacrosanct - Vampires of Skyrim.espAlternate Start - Live Another Life.espELFXEnhancer.espRealisticWaterTwo.espRealisticWaterTwo - ELFX Enhancer Patch.espRealisticWaterTwo - Watercolor.espRWT Lod Fix.espWACCF_BashedPatchLvlListFix.esp
anjenthedog
Exterior areas, especially those augmented by various environmental mods, require a far larger amount of video memory and processing than interior spaces.
darkedgeblade
I know that outdoor performance should be overall worse than indoors but I don't think that's the issue at hand.If I load up a save outdoors my game runs at 60FPS with no issues, but going inside a dungeon and then coming back out causes that lag to occur. anjenthedog
Persistent FPS drop or just for a while after exiting a dungeon? If the latter, it might just be some transient effect. Not exactly sure... I use a pretty long buffer time for loading new cells, so I rarely see any cell change artifacts.
darkedgeblade
No its a permanent FPS Tank after leaving a dungeon. The only cure is to save, exit game and reload.I tried to check my performance tab while this was happening and it looks like my CPU is going to 100% utilization after exiting a dungeon, while normally its at about 70%.So I'm guessing maybe something script related? I still have no idea why this would only be happening after exiting a dungeon.
elpuertorro
A little old but do you have SSE fixes, Bug fixes SSE V2 or (part1) Engine fixes 4.13 for SSE on your install? they address some of those problems. Ā Take a look and wouldn't hurt to dl and install them anyways if you don't have them.Good luck!

You may be able to deal with it by increasing the cell load delay in Skyrim.ini (located in your Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition folder (no guarantee but at least try it)Ā [Papyrus]fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS = (some value) - I use a value of 36000 as it overcomes a ~similar cell-load CTD issue I've gotten in the past when going to Solstheim and back, although my 36 second delay may be a bit of overkill, idk. I do know that I continue to get CTD on that transition when I use the "optimized" value of 800 (0.8 seconds) noted in one of the optimization advisories. Back2friday
Did you fixed this? I have the same damn problem and i can not find anyone who can tell me what is wrong here. I can roam 8 hours in open world skyrim, but once i cleared a dungeon and go back outside, the game/fps is going crazy. I have to fast travel or reload save to fix it. I use the same modlist for months, and a few weeks ago this annoying problem started. Has anyone found a solution?
