So, there is a problem i've been having for a while that is very annoying. After restarting or launching my computer (Win 7) and launching Vortex that WAS updated to 1.1.14 ver, launcher says that I have 1.0.0 ver. Its easy to update vortex each time, but very annoying. It would be great if you would help or fix this problem because its one of the best tools for fallout 4.

The most likely cause is that you actually have two copies of Vortex installed, one in a custom location at version 1.0.0 and the other in the default location at 1.1.14.

When you start the custom one it will detect the update, install it to the default location and start that.

What you need to do is uninstall Vortex in the default location, manually download the (custom) installer for 1.1.14 and run that, entering the location you previously used.

In the future you should avoid "cleaning" your registry because that's how these things happen. When Vortex installs an update, if you're using a non-default install location, the installer needs to know where Vortex is installed, getting that info from the registry. If your windows reinstallation or ccleaner or whatever removed that (because cleaning up 10 bytes is sooo worth it) that will fail, the installer assumes it is an initial install and install in the default location without cleaning the original one.
