RobinHood2005
I had an issue recently where, after I cleaned my monitor and plugged it back in, it would randomly turn itself off and back on again. I would also hear crackling noises that may be connected to this issue. I have since changed the socket that the monitor itself is plugged into, as well as the HDMI port that I use, and the issue has ceased. For the last 8 hours, there has been no sign of trouble. Despite this, I am rather concerned about whether anything has become damaged somehow (even though I don't see how anything could have become damaged during the course of my cleaning). Please advise. (For the record, I have a dual monitor setup, where one monitor was believed to be the cause of the issue, but I did have one incident in which both turned off). steve40
You had a loose power lead. It didn't blow any fuses, I wouldn't worry about it.
