I suggest going to a site called casting club. you'll have a better chance in my opinion in finding a mod to voice act in. its free so don't worry about buying their membership. its a nice community they give tips and advice on how to improve your auditions etc. its where I started my voice acting hobby.

first of happy birthday mate sorry I had to occur during a pandemic. also the 2070 is a solid GPU. had one for a year and never had a issue with it. I would suggest buying from Canada computers because they tend to have sales with there GPU's got mine from them for 700 CAD. best of luck. also curious if your 1070 no longer doing it for you?

I have never seen a post in where I agree so much with several topics but disagree/ have hopeful optimism/ praying to god they don't do these things. I agree that Skyrim doesn't really let you be the good guy most of the time. im playing a character rn who is meant to be this great good hero who does no evil. but I had to join the thieves guild and get a guy jailed. also like you said most quest are if you don't be the bad guy its boring (I liked dawn guards quests tho). for ex) dark brother hood instead of doing a cool quest line if you choose to not join them they said f*#@ it make it a search and kill all deal and give me some gold. like wtf you had the potential for something great but dropped the ball. as for the modding scene this is me being hopeful/ praying that they don't cuck the free modding community. because I personally believe if they do this the amount of backlash they will get will most likely be worse or equal to fallout 76 launch. and im hoping there not that dumb. finally I'm hoping they have learned some valuable lessons from fallout 76 like how not to launch a game and how not to fix your hsit by blaming others etc etc. but only time will tell. one good thing is that there starfeild? game is coming out before the next elder scrolls. so if that is a s#*! show or basically odes the trip and true Bethesda formal or removes the free modding scene then we know what to expect for elder scrolls.

OMG, I'm so sick of this old mantra being chanted by the White Knights. They love nothing better than to support the abuser in an abusive relationship. im so happy im not the only person who thought about this when seeing this post. because why should I pay 60+ dollars for a game that is broken to s#*! in a lot of areas. but its okay because these things happen and we should accept them. calling company's out for their bullshit is how we get things fixed. look at battlefront 2 (new one) from when it first game out to now. that's what happens when you call someone out for there s#*!.

I have too much of a love hate relationship with this game

I'm curious on peoples thoughts on Bethesda's accountant that the next elder scrolls will be coming out after star field. so most likely a a fe years. y'all think the engine will be able to hold on? or will they move to a new one?

so the client doesn't even start up? or it does then crashes. this could be a issue when downloading the update and a error occurred. or your virus software has flagged the update program and won't run it. check you software then iI would try uninstalling and reinstalling

some mods never added a manager download area but you can still manual download them to your game it not too difficult just search up on youtube and you can find some good tutorials.

okay is it your anti-virus not given access and quarantining vortex to to a false positive for a virus. d\is it windows defender is it a parental control? this could be a lot of things. check anti-virus software and give vortex full access. if your using avg or software like that it has a higher chance of flagging vortex and its mods as viruses.

basically if you want to have a fresh start with mods purge them. it deletes all the things vortex installed. (I was miss informed ignore this its not right)

it could also be an issue with your wifi

my plan for TES6 is the same for fallout 76. im not pre-ordering and wont buy the cam until some time has passed so i can tell what the general population thinks of it. it saved my money for 76 due to that cluster f*#@. but i also think Bethesda knows that this is their last chance to win back the hearts and minds of their community. if they pull another fallout 76 with TES6 they have ended themselves. so im hoping they will take their time. bu who knows

remove mods from the vortex launcher if you don't want them to appear again. using the purge buttons is a great way to get rid of them all if your trying to get a fresh start.

my guess is that maybe lighting in the dungeon wasn't being loaded properly and somehow ate s#*!. making this guess on your error with the lighting textures. I believe its something else though due to the fact all your saves are crashing the game. but because this is Skyrim the issue could little be that one of your mods has a texture clipping slightly into something causing Skyrim to crash.

load after to overwrite. so if you want mod A to be the dominate file then load it after mod B

is your anti-virus software at all interfering with it. vortex got pinged by mine and I was able to run the game but mods would not work.

I would suggest trying to get another 8gb of ram and upgrade your GPU to a 1060. you get much more bang for your buck with a 1060 compared to a 1050ti. and if you can afford it try looking for a case with better ventilation.

from what your specs are you shouldn't be having this issue. It may be Crome causing it with some sort o memory leak. also just open up your pc and make sure everything is clean no dust ad is properly secure. I know it sounds dumb but Ive seen people knock something loose while cleaning or just forgot to put RAM in all the way etc etc. I would also suggest running a stress test software to help locate the area of issue.

this all depends on the other games you play and other ways you use your computer. for example if you play more processing heavy games beside Skyrim like hoi4, arma 3 etc. you would want to go with the cpu. I would also suggest the cpu because it will help more. keep in mind like others have said (tower01) upgrading your cpu like that will require a new motherboard and memory. I heavily suggests a 15-9600k instead of the i7, I used one for the longest of time and it did wonders its a great cpu all around.

could be a few issues. your using a old monitor and its on its final legs, pc needs a good deep clean. if it gets to hot inside it will auto shutdown. I tend use some compressed air to aid in getting into hard to reach areas for a cloth, then do a once over with a cloth.

as steve40 said prob a loose power lead. when I clean my monitors I make sure I get a nice snug fit when placing cables back. also look out for a loose hdmi cable.

it can depend on what mods your using together. did you sort out your load order right so files are not conflicting anymore? and is it still letting you launch the game?

if your using avg it by default denies vortex access to folders. (mine did atleast). also i know it may sound stupid but did you make sure you vortex mods are downloading into the right folder. and the same drive as SSE.

as had to register said they can't see mods it did not download. but it will see the plugins i find. i had some manually downloaded mods and i was able to interact with their plugins in vortex.

When i had this issue i had to hard uninstall vortex and restart my computer. reinstalling before restarting my pc did not work. also be sure to enable vortex in your anti-virus software. thats what caused the issue for me.
