get rid of old vortex files?

So I want to completely redownload vortex, like a complete reset of it, so none of the old mods I downloaded would be there. How would I do this, because i've googled it and nothing comes up.

If you want to get rid of literally everything mod related, including all of your downloaded mod archives, then delete AppData\Roaming\Vortex. If you don't want to get rid of your downloaded archives, then copy and/or cut and paste AppData\Roaming\Vortex\Downloads to a safe place before deleting the Vortex folder.
