Has anybody ever attempted to make Pre-war sanct into a settlement

(Of course the worldspace would get duplicated an so on)

 

Many people ask me for this, especially since the Memory Pod FW came out, but I don't know. It sounds like an awful lot of issues could occur, even when deleting all the NPCs and triggerboxes, etc...

 

So the question:

Have you done it and have you had major issues?

I have not, but I think it could work if you really look carefully on every piece that got duplicated. Really weird things can happen with vanilla stuff and the best would be imo, if you create every item and so on new, what was before linked - or part - of the vanilla intro scene (that includes and only if necessary: npcs, furniture, markers, all kind of boxes and so on).

I will delete all those pesky NPCs and activators including trigger stages and clean it up in F04Edit. No question about that. But yeah it will be giving me a headache for sure ;)

Thuggysmurf has a mod called Prewar Settlements that does something along those lines. Maybe check with him to see what he ran into?

Mine's already finished but thanks. Didn't ran into problems but he did. Guess he didn't edit MQ101Sandbox behaviour
