zem66
hello, people from vault 101 i did the STITH quest , gathered the keys and resolved not to give them to the ghoule. I did shoot Crowley between the eyes, and then his mercenary sleeping in the corner too and then I talked a bit with the other ghoules and left quietly the underworld to reach the fort... You may have shot another npc, not involved in this businessOr is it the "striking first is guilty" rule like in Oblivion? Maybe you should wait a little bit before blowing him away... Hope this helps Bonjour chez vous
Moraelin
You can get both the XP and the armour. - Open all the doors in Fort Constantine until you're right at the power-armour - go back to Underworld and hand in the keys - Fast-travel back to the fort and beat him to the armour
ForrestB
Or...-give him the keys (be sure to persuade him/lie/tell him you headshotted everyone)-get the xp and money-pick pocket keys from him/kill him and steal keys back-beat him to the fort/kill him and go to fort I do not see why people tell you to go to fort first. I did not, and it made no difference. He takes a LONG time to get there...(besides, though I haven't tested this, I doubt he kills everyone in the fort)
crimsonsteel
nah its just the game is glitched, i killed half of megaton, then came bak an hour later and no one attacked (hour game time, wait function)... then i blew it up. needed that strength bobblehead, but someone saw me breaking in, so i thought to myself, i thought "matt ur going to blow the place up in 5mins anyhow, just blow him up earlier" so i did, aaand everyone ran at me.does anyone else hate the fact that children are all essential? and that all the children in lamplight are assholes? i know theres a mod out, but its buggy atm. Welnic
I didn't know anything about the quest, so I gave the keys to Crowley. Then when he took off I followed him all of the way to Fort Constantine. I didn't know where we were going, or I probably would not have wanted to go that far. We killed everyone that we ran into on the way there, following roads the whole way. Once we got to the Fort he tried to kill me, when he died I took the keys and went into the Fort. Rockatanskiy
You don't even need to kill Crowley. After you get the keys, open up all the doors that lead to the power armor. Don't pick it up, or he will be mad the next time you talk to him. Travel back to underworld, and give him the keys, and he will run off toward the fort. Fast travel there before he gets the armor, and take it. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or not, but Crowley will sometimes appear and follow you around. I met him in tenpenny once, as well as on the roof of the statesman hotel (from reiley's rangers)
