How to delete files in a .bsa?

Recommended Posts

I would likely want someone [to] mod it for me

You need to PM a moderator to get an official opinion about asking for that. Because you are talking about only a "sub-file" of the mod, an argument might be made by some lawyer that it is not technically "distribution" because it is not the whole of the protected "work", but "I am not a lawyer" and it is up to Nexus to decide if soliciting such help is something they are willing to risk a lawsuit over.

Oh, okay. Any moderators at avail rn? So I can ask them if I can PM a modder and have the .bsa files changed from the mod were talking about?

And then there is the detail of somebody actually willing to do it.

So ergo implies you might get it done quicker by learning to do it yourself.

And totally legal .

I think you are just not understanding the liability of hosting/facilitating said such actions.

Not that legal action would definitely happen ... it's the mere possibility of it.

And the Nexus wanting to remain viable ... would not even want the nuisance of considering the ramifications.

Re: PMing a moderator. At the very bottom of the web page, below the "reply text" field and the "IPB skins by Skinbox" credit line are a series of links. One of which is "Contact Us", which takes you to a form you fill in.

But I agree you would be better served by trying to work this out for yourself. It appears to me the problem is simply that you can't just delete the entire "characters" folder, but instead need to identify and remove only specific KF files from there. Tedious, but simple.
