Ewendoun
Hi everybody ! I am trying to play with the GOG's Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition on Windows 10. After installing some (many) mods, I noticed when I start a new game, Doc Mitchell's head spins for about 360 degrees repeatedly, and that his body doesn't show many (or unusual ones) animations. First I deactivated every mod, then started a clean new game, but the "bug" was still there, so I decided to install a new copy once again, clean, repairing Microsoft Visual 2008 +++ among other things.. and It seemed to work properly, on this new clean installation. Soooo I decided to activate once again mods.. but the spinning heads with strange animations started again... So I believe one or two mods enact these kind of "bugs", here it is why I post my load order: Just for information, I am on a "poor" mobile computer (apologies about my poor english, I am french and didn't practized since high school years, well. ), I can give my features, but first the mod list: FalloutNV.esmYUP FRA - Jeu de base + Tous les DLC.esmClassicPack.esmLonesomeRoad.esmTribalPack.esmOldWorldBlues.esmCaravanPack.esmDeadMoney.esmGunRunnersArsenal.esmHonestHearts.esmMercenaryPack.esmCorvega.esmFunctional Post Game Ending.espMore Perks for Dead Money.esmMore Perks for Honest Hearts.esmMore Perks for Old World Blues.esmMore Perks.esmThe New Bison Steve Hotel.esmCBGS.espMore Challenges.esmSomeguySeries.esmCabotMod.espTales of New Reno Redux Episode Zero.esmTales of New Reno Redux.esmTales of New Reno Redux Episode Two.esmYUP FRA - NPC Corrections (Jeu de base + Tous les DLC).espFalloutNV_lang.espThe Mod Configuration Menu.espBobblehunt - Fallout 3 Bonuses.esplightupandsmokethosecigarettes_dm.espLightUpAndSmokeThoseCigarettes_edisleado.espGRA - The Right to Bear Arms.espBibleHuntingQuest.espdressup.espxatmosSkillPerks.espSignatureWeapons.espAG Supplementary Uniques-Dead Money.espAG Supplementary Uniques.espCaravanOverhaulCompilation.espCasinoHeists.espCliff's Empty Drinkable Bottles.espCheckpointGary.espClean Up New Vegas.espdelilah.espdD - Enhanced Blood Main NV.espJswords4freeDMGPlus5FR.espJswords4freeFR.espFiendish Power Armor.espPerkEveryLevel.espNVJohnDoe.espHigh on Life.espIIWR.espImmersive Hit Reactions.espJIP Fast-Travel Anywhere.espJIP Improved Recipe Menu.espJIP MiniMap.espKillableKids.espTheCollector.espTheBetterAngels.espTheInheritance.espLightSaberMod.espLiveDismember.espUltimate Illness Mod.esp1 Hired Gun.espMuzzleFlashDecreased.espBetter Game Performance.espMore Perks for Dead Money Update.espMore Perks for Honest Hearts Update.espMore Perks for Old World Blues Update.espMore Perks Update.espNewSilverRushGuard.espMiscItemIconsNV.espFO3 Pack d'armes.espMCL_Weapon_Pack.espInvisibility for No Reputation.espJJRexBrainSwap.espNewVegasBounties.espNewVegasBountiesII.espNewVegasBountiesIII.espRewarding Exploring.espCasino UnBanner.espLFox Bottle That Water.espRasRepairAll.espUnique skill Magazines.espKingOfTheRing.espRussell.espSackpackNV.espSaveCass.espTaste of the Commonwealth - More Hardcore.espTaste of the Commonwealth.espSit Anywhere.espThe Weapon Mod Menu.esprealistic headshots.espTommy Gun.espCasino Exchange All.espUnique Items & Collectables.espUnique Items & CollectablesNOBONUS.espUnique Items & CollectablesNOPERKS.espUnlimitedCompanions.espUnlimitedTraits.espRealisticBulletsTracers.espRealisticBulletsTracersGRA.espGet Older.espvoicinewvegas.espajoutspersos.espJIP Companions Command & Control.espTNRChoices.espVanilla UI Plus.espBashed Patch.espMerged Patch 2.esp If you do not see some of ESMs files, it is because they are unmanaged by Mod Organizer, thanks a lot !Glad about this community, and once again thanks.Ewendoun
dubiousintent
To start with, that "load order" is not correct, so it is not surprising that you are having issues. We REALLY need to see a "load order" as produced by "LOOT"; to include the main game and DLC files. (Screenshots don't work very well for the purpose.) With modded games its the sequence, not merely the list of mods, which is the cause of many problems. LOOT's sort gives a good first approximation, correcting the most obvious issues and is sufficient for most players. You can make minor adjustments to the order and tell LOOT how to remember them. It's in the on-line documentation under "Metadata". Instructions on how to copy it's list for posting are in the "How to ask for help" article, and "Checklist Item #11' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. Please see the 'Vanilla Load Order' entry in the 'First Timer Advice' section; and the 'Common Game Problems' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. Much of the time getting the "load order" correct will resolve many problems that occur before you get into the game. However, if the problem persists, then see either the 'Solutions to Starting the game problems' or the 'Solutions to "Crash To Desktop" (CTD) problems' sections in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.I recommend anyone read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to play a modded FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so. It is designed for someone who has never played a modded PC game before, so it tries to avoid making any assumptions, is kept "up-to-date", and covers years of "lessons learned".-Dubious-
JimboUK
I seen reported elsewhere that deleting the Fallout ini, Falloutprefs ini and Renderinfo from Documents\My Games\FalloutNV and letting the game create fresh ones will fix it, by doing this you will have to redo your options. Ewendoun
You are both right. Thanks a lot to both of you, because the issue was about corrupted ini and Renderinfo files, and a load order issue with YUP.Rebuilding both the files in Documents/Fallout New Vegas and those of Mod Organizer was a success to solve it.Thanks a lot once again, also I will take in count the advices on procedures to post next time.
