Crash help/re install

Ok i have a serious issue atm i use about 44 mods not a lot i find though. I get issues like randomly ctd or ctd at certain spots(always the same spot)

Im already trying to sort out mods that i dont need but its hard... also i have no clue how wrye bash works(the interface is a little to complicated for me and its all in english) not saying my english is bad but the programm is just to hard for me to understand.

 

2nd thing is i migh try to re install skyrim + mods but i was wondering how can i make it that after disabling the mods and Deleting almost everything linked with skyrim (i just want to make sure that there are no mod leftovers or something)that i dont have to re download every single mod And so that NMM recognizes the mods i already have download. I just need to know which folder not to delete.

Humm i think that you must disable EnhancedLightandFx, it's still in beta, i got ctds and freeze in some place with it ;)

 

then if you want to make a fresh install,

 

1/back up the game with Steam

2/delete all files related to skyrim, ....../myGame/Skyrim for .ini and .../common/skyrim

3/re install the game with steam, it take 10 mins, faster than DL, you'll have a brand new vanilla game, new char, after helgen:

4/open NMM and go to file tab, open NMM's mods folder, all your mods are there

5/ re install your mods one by one and check if everything is fine

done

 

instead of Wrye bash, use Boss, it's not 100% reliable but it will organize your load order, do it before every thing, then uninstall if needed
