Lggager
Hi there, I've exported a character's looksmenu preset as a json file, and I'd like to use that to fit outfits to that character better. Any help on how?
StormWolf01
Heyas Lggager. Yes and no. The preset file doesn't carry any of the information that you are using from your bodyslide preset. But, if the sliders have been changed from there in looksmenu... THAT information it DOES have. Right at the top of the file, very conveniently. .json files are shockwave flash files. However, they can be opened with notepad (notepad.exe)However, opening them in notepad usually leaves them as a jumbled up mess that is hard to read. That's why I'd recommend a free program like notepad++ or pspad to open them with (the latter program you can even set up so that all you have to do is just right click a file and choose to use pspad to open it) and they will restructure the files into nice, tidy, neat vertical rows that are very easy to read. At the very top of the file, starting with the second line is where any bodyslide settings that were altered from the BS preset will be located. They're pretty clearly marked, so they take the guesswork out what sliders you'd have to use, and what to set them for, when opening the clothing/armor item in bodyslide.Tho, as all things with BS, sometimes you have to do a tad bit more tweaking. Now tho too, if this is from somebody else's presets that you don't have set up on whatever body that you're using, it won't be of any help to you. And sadly no, you can't use .json files with bodyslide. It doesn't use those types of files. Hope this helps :)-Storm
