saut
First of all, this was a really fun mod. Playing an evil character was definitly a breath of fresh air. However, I have a few questions for those of you who may have played this mod: POSSIBLE SPOILER AHOY! ...................... When you finish the mod, Dagoth Ur invites you to "see the heart" with him (in the heart chamber where a Nerevarine character would go to finally defeat Ur). I am not able to do this (I think the door is scripted to open only after killing his first incarnation, but I figured that the makers of this mod would script something else, especially after telling me to go and have a look) -- should I be able to get in there? I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in the readme as well. Also, in the readme it says there is a teleport system available, but I am totally clueless about how to use it. Anyone know? cactoblasta
You should be able to get in there - have you been promoted to the highest rank yet? There is an amulet that teleports you around; I never used it (I've become too accustomed to using "coc") but you should have got it off either the Dagoth in the first cave or off Dagoth Ur. It's called the Red Mountain amulet.
saut
I'm a Dagoth. I just killed Vivec and gave wraithguard to Ur. I thought maybe I would have to go get sunder and keening (which I went and got) to advance the dialogue with Ur or to be able to gain access to the heart chamber, but it didn't seem to do anything. Neither Ur nor the Dagoth in Cthulu cave gave me an amulet, which would be really nice to have. Another question -- I ran into a building called "Iverness" in Red Mountain (right next to Turyendal) -- is this part of the original game, the sixth house mod, or some other random mod I have installed? I try to go in, but it says "waves of terror overcome you..." whenever I try the door.
Naug
where can I get this mod?
Ferret
http://www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind/modcont...s/mods_full.aspSearch for sixth house, and stuff will be dandy. I think the mod looks interesting, but I'm too much of a goody to actually try it out.
cactoblasta
Inverness is from the mod "The Illuminated Order", a far better mod in my opinion. It'd take someone with better scripting knowledge than me to tell you if it's possible to open the dwemer barrier with the console, but you could just use tcl to walk through the shell and open the door. From the other side the shell opens automatically when you return to the facility cavern.
saut
I used the clipping command to get through the barrier, but when I go through the door, Dagoth Ur attacks me. I suppose there's some sort of script that needs triggered somehow. Oh well. I'm starting on the Illuminated Order mod right now, so far I like. A question though -- which island is the "liar" on? It seems like I've been on every one in the range they told me to be in (SE of Dagon Fel and W of Ald Daedroth), but no luck.
cactoblasta
If you have the paper map that comes with Morrowind you can see it quite easily. Directly to the east of Mzuleft (south of Dagon Fel) there's an island; just north of that is a small island shaped like a backwards "r". The liar is on that island. Naug
in the sixth house mod I am told by Ur to kill Fyr which I do but he wouldnt aknowledge it. Any clue how this should be remedied? Should I kill all dyrs wifes as well? Reason I ask is that one of them stands next to that last dwarf and wouldnt I need him for some further quest (I remember from main-line that he can help work with wraithguard and co)
