lately i'm finding alot of building mods, that have deleted navmeshes in them, and this is a one way ticket straight to crash hell, so please modders if you are going to make buildings that are navmeshed, please check to make sure that it is cleaned with ssedit, or whatever you guys use.

LOOT gives me a message, mod xyz has deleted navmeshes, that's why i'm posting this here,

i wont name the offender's or the mods involved, as that's not what this is about.. ii'm just asking modders to be a little more professional, today alone, i've had my game crash 4-5 times because of one mod that had a deleted navmesh,(the mod has since been deleted) i cant afford a new computer right now lol.. so please make sure you check that you have a clean mod before you release...

thanks

Repairing navmeshes apparently isn't simple. Most noob modders can't handle it and probably don't realize what they did wrong. I was just reading a guide on how to repair broken navmeshes for a mod I have that deletes one.

It looks like such a PITA process.

Run xEdit for cleaning on your mod before public release. That will fix most, if not all issues with navmesh. I have been tearing up beth game all the way back to morrowind. And since release of xEdit have had countless number of mods crashing game because of navmesh. Cleaned with xEdit (manually back then) and crash would stop in almost every situation. So what "ozmods" says is right. You don't need to be a pro to run xEdit. Especially since now it has an auto clean script. I run xEdit on every mod I release (public or private). Thanks Ozmod for bring this topic up. New modders need to be made aware. It's part of learning and growing.
