My Second Story

This is one I wrote earlier because I was bored

5 years ago I was just a simple Samurai.

Nothing more than a warrior, a warrior for the Tyoyatomi Clan.

A simple footsoldier, usually the first sent in to weaken the enemy.

How wrong I was to think I would get nowhere in life.

Little did I know, I was about to get involved in a story far from the capabilities of a simple soldier.

It was Kyosho 4, the year of the night.

We had been sent out to fight against the Wryuto Clan.

So far we had 3000 casulties. I had not recieved a scratch yet thankfully.

Another wave of warriors ran across the field approaching us.

As I was the most advanced samurai of the clan, I was sent to attack from the back of the enemy line.

I pulled out my halbeard, ready to attack any person to defend myself.

As I rushed in to the army line, I took out three of the enemy with one swoop of my Halbeard, taking out there legs.

I heard the Chief of my clan shouting, he had started the onslaught of arrows.

The arrows covered the sky like a quilt of blades, raining down on the enemy.

As I lay on the ground pulling the fallen over me to cover me from the fire, the Wryuto's clan leader rode out on horseback.

My Chief pulled his arrow back on his longbow, aiming for the leaders head.

As he let go of the arrow, the leader stood still. Not moving one inch, knowing his death was iminant.

The arrow flying through the air like a graceful bird finally broke in to his temple.

His body fell to the floor.

He lay peacefully for about 5 minutes as the Chief was giving his victory speech.

As the chief looked on to the battle field, he was shot with an arrow, through his temple.

As I looked round to see where the arrow had been fired from, there he was, the leader back up on to feet, no wound in site.

What was this that had allowed him to be revived from the dead?

I passed out from the site of their leader, standing back where he had once lay dormant, in the peace of death.

'Wake, wake young warrior'.

I stood to attention as a spirit came from out of the fog.

It was the spirit of the Tyoyotomi Ancestor, the great knight.

He once stood against an enemy of the clan as I did. Legend has it that ancient magic of the stars was used to vanquish his powerful foe.

'Our enemy has risen again, more lethal than before. He was granted eternal life by the demonic beings, the Kalachti. I give you my spirit so you may banish him to the abyss and rid the Earth of his darkness'.

As the ancient spirit finished his sentance, his soul merged with mine as I gave off a dark purple essence.

I fell to the floor once more and when I woke, found myself back on the battle field.

The Tyoyatomi clan warriors had all been slaughtered, left for dead, nothing but rotting flesh.

There he stood, smiling over his success.

'One last survivor? I shall make your suffering quick, not like the rest of your clan'.

As he rushed towards my body I readied my blade.

He threw his fist at me as I sliced at his shin.

He still stood as I was tossed to the ground.

How was I supposed to beat a powerful being such as him?

I had been given this power but had no idea of how to use it.

I suddenly had a strange feeling in my arm as it started to change.

Two blades grew from out of my wrists, retracktable and deadly.

They both gave off the dark essence as the Leader backed off.

'Anicent magic!'

I slowly raised with no doing on my own from the floor and as I opened my eyes, they had turned a dark blue.

'Your time here is at an end demon!'

As I glided towards him, he jumped in to the air dodging my blade.

I thrusted my hand in to the air, causing the air above to form dark clouds.

These then fired from my hand in to the demon, holding him in his position.

I rushed towards him with both blades ready.

I stabbed him through the chest and consistantly stabbing him rapidly.

I then pulled back for a brief second to slice his throat.

He fell to the floor as his body started to evaporate in to the air, out of existance.

I had stopped him from destroying the world, from becoming a greater monster.

If you only take one thing away from my tale, take this.

Everyone has a purpose on Earth, great or small, the ability to change the world.

@Pedantic: Thanks for the comment.

@Lisn: Why Thank you Lisa, you helped me a lot with bringing out my creativeness when I started texturing for the Imperial BlackOps mod.

The next story I am thinking of creating is more like a comic or video of a story in Oblivion. The Night Watcher, or a better name.

Sorry about my moping guys, I'm usually like that. However, I have started on the second and will be up (probably) some time tomorrow evening. However, I might (small might) get it done tonight, but it could also end up doing it on the weekend. No later than Sunday I think.
