lol i love this game but i cant pay for it lol so i play a game called taikodom its basicly the same but free :P

I tried Taikodom for about 15 minutes, which is not enough to judge a game, but the lag was bad, and I was not motivated to try again. It did seem to have potential, and I am tempted to try again.

When I started Eve I paid for it for a year, with an aim to subsequently pay via PLEX, which worked for me, and I now have 2 accounts which cost me 600 million ISK a month.

Name: Mutar Kent

Race: Caldari

ISK: 40,000

Just started playing this game a couple days ago and the more I figure out the less I understand. Currently my only source of income is mining in high sec space boring but neccessary for me to buy enhancments for my few ships. However once I get past the early hurdles of this game I know that it will be very hard to stop playing! I also love the graphics!!

Another month, another corporation.

revised stats:

Name: Akaelan

corp: Emix inc.

SP: 2.1 million

Flying: ECM Scorpion.

I love EVE as a game but really, sometimes I hate the corps. Ive gone through 7 this year, two in a month. The problem is that the established corps I wouldnt want to have anything to do with, assuming they even wanted to whave anything to do with me. And the rest seem just to be hormone-powered teenagers simply wanting to kill as many ships as possible in pvp while somehow paradoxicaly being too timid to actualy engage the enemy. And so I find myself, again, in a new corporation, with new wingmates I dont trust and a new sigil on my ship. It wouldnt be a problem if solo was more possible in l4+, but if you arent a mainline combatant, that is to say, a spamraven or spamdrake hot off the evefitter productionline of conformism, you're screwed without a corp. And since most mission running corps turn to pvp within a week of forming, find they lack the guts to actualy stand and fight, and then ragequit, I am tempted to feel screwed anyway.

Yea I lean more towards solo play but as you pointed out Vindekarr without a corp you are screwed. Right now I'm moving into lower sec space were the mining is more lucractive however sometimes the rats give me trouble. It also seems like a lot of the corps simply want to much from you, I'm not quite ready to sell my soul for isk yet.

Welcome to Eve! I had some great times mining when I started. I also could not think of any other way to start off. I wanted to make a corp and needed 1 million ISK. I calculated that it would take me >100 mining trips in my frigate to make the money :)

I love the graphics as well, and continue to discover new effects (mainly the newer modules I try) after 2 years of playing. I also keep discovering new locations and structures. Amazing game.

I got tired of my corp a few months ago, and since then I have been wandering from one to another myself.

I recently joined a friend's newly rejuvenated (mission running) corp, The Watchmen of Corvus, and atm I am setting up some corp games. I always wanted to implement capture-the-contract and tractor-can , and this is the time to do it. We'll also be running races and have other yearly events e.g. treasure hunt. Another mission related aim is to run monthly level 5s for fun and LPs. We operate out of Umokka (and Gekatami). Look us up when you are next looking for a corp :)

Capture the Contract: 2 teams with home bases in stations adjacent systems. Each has to infiltrate enemy base, accept a contract, and transport goods to home base to complete the contract. First to do so wins. Frigates only. Volume of contract necessitates multiple trips. Killing is allowed (corp only game).

Tractor-can: 100km playfield with goal posts. Teams score goals by tractoring a can. Frigates only. Killing not allowed, but everything else is e.g. ECM, Web, Damp.

SP: 40m or so

Been living out in 0.0 for the past year or two...great fun, any player that has the chance (and sp) should move out there whenever possible. Good monies and good pews.

Edit: Just read your post about the Tengu, Samroski. If you dual box and do complexes, I've got a Tengu fit to share with you. It costs around 4-5b isk to fit out, but it can solo tank any plex out there. Mine currently omni-tanks 3100 DPS (according to EFT :P), but can handle more due to speed and sig radius. Could get it higher with more isk, but it does the job well enough as it is
