rawrn00b
I was wondering if anyone has any tutorial on getting a custom static mesh into Skyrim with collision. The only tutorials I found for doing this seemed like they were made before the CK was released because it involves running your .nif through a 3rd party program and referencing an existing models collision. I want to import my model in the game with my own hand modeled collision model.
rawrn00b
bump, anyone know how to do this? I am almost done my mod but need a custom collision object, its kind of an odd shape and I can't find anything in the game that would fit its shape. ghosu
If you find nothing suitable you could try this method...use standalone invisible objects to form the shape of your object:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2BHIFRTOwE
rawrn00b
I saw that method but I was kind of hoping for something done in 3ds max, the object I am making is going to be duplicated a lot and would most likely need it's own collision mesh. rawrn00b
I watched that one too and my .nif always crashes the CK when I try to put it in.
