Well, I want to greet everyone first of all.

Now, I am aware that this topic has been talked about a lot, too much for everyone's taste. But my question is still not resolved and I have many left.

This is the problem I'm having, when I download something over 100mb, in general, the download always drops to a maximum of 352KB/s and that never happens again.

To all this, I do not have a premium and also my download speed is 1.2MB/s.

Since last year I have been having this problem and the truth is I do not know if it will be a bug, or if it is on purpose because I have already changed my PC, I have reinstalled Windows many times (not for that, but for work).

And nothing, that's basically the question I have.

Thank you!

Since last year Nexus Mods employs its own CDN which will automatically connect you to the nearest out of multiple file servers.

If that nearest server is overloaded you get bad download speed even though some of the other servers may have plenty of capacity.

The way this could get fixed is by people affected contacting the Nexus Mods web team who maintain these servers and provide information on where (geographically) you are so that they can identify CDN servers with insufficient capacity and increase capacity, or change the routing so that people get directed to more appropriate servers.

The problem is that people are telling the Vortex team about their speed problems (we get multiple messages a day for the many months now) even though we can't do anything about it.

Generally: If you have slow download speeds that's practically never a software problem but either a problem with your own internet connection, your ISP or the server. Posting about this on the Vortex forums makes no sense, pleaaaaaaaase make it stop. God, please make it stop.

FINALLY, that's the answer I was looking for.
I know that everyone always posts the same topic, but I needed to get rid of the doubts I had about this once and for all because I have never seen an answer like yours anywhere.
I would like to thank you very much, and I am very sorry.
