shmeeking
i have too many mods to do one by one, so how do i uninstall every mod at once for skyrim
Eupraxia
Well.. you "to my knowledge" don't. Maybe you can find a tool that cleans the Skyrim folder of any new additions not included in the clean install, but understand that even with all our tools for modding Elder Scrolls games today, there still is a lot of work. When i started to mod my games with Morrowind, every mod had to be installed manually, so my tip to you is to just get used to it :)
Mekii
Delete all files in the Data folder except following:Skyrim.esmSkyrim - Animation.bsaSkyrim - Interface.bsaSkyrim - Meshes.bsaSkyrim - Misc.bsaSkyrim - Shaders.bsaSkyrim - Sounds.bsaSkyrim - Textures.bsaSkyrim - Voices.bsaSkyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa -----------------Dawnguard-----------------Dawnguard.esmDawnguard.bsa-----------------Hearthfires-----------------Hearthfires.esmHearthfires.bsa Then you get rid of all mods. You could keep the Video folder, Interface folder and the Docs folder. Edited December 12, 2012 by Mekii
zyg0tic
Would deleting everything in the data folder except the vanilla files, and then choosing Verify integrity of game cache in Steam work? I've thought about doing this myself. I guess I'd just need to back up the data folder first and it'd be fine to try.
Mekii
It should work (in theory), as everything is within the vanilla files. What you delete is items that Skyrim can do without (the mods).
