Mods that stop working or malfunction and have worked properly for a long time

I state that I am not very skilled in the use of mods and do not know computer science well. I installed some mods in my Fallout New Vegas, but after finishing the main quest and all the original DLCs. Not many: about thirty. I installed for first: NVSE, JIP LN NVSE Plugin, 4GB Patcher, NVAC, YUP and Unofficial Patch Plus. I use FOMM as a mod manager. After these I installed the other mods. Those that add weapons, clothes and hair styles still work perfectly and have never given any problems. Mods that add hostile NPCs (I mean Demons, Fiends and Vipers) at first worked well but after some time some NPCs stopped respowning, or in any case the number of NPCs has decreased compared to when the mods were installed . Where I found 10-15 NPCs now I find 3-4. One of the mods even stopped completely respowning the NPCs it added. They never come back, as if the mod were not installed, but the mod manager shows that it is active. I would like to know if there is a way to make them work again like when I installed them. FOMM says they are installed correctly. If I try to disable them, launch the game, close it and reactivate them, could they return to generate the NPCs as they should? Is there a way to check if some scripts are damaged or if conflicts have arisen? Any advice and explanations will be greatly appreciated. If you need more information or my loading order I will be happy to post them, thanks

That sounds like programmed behavior rather than a technical problem. (As in "you have had an effect upon their activities in the area".) You need to specify exactly which mods are "acting up". (it doesn't seem like a "load order" problem, but that information can't hurt either.)

Hmm that also sounds like behavior I have experienced when continually working on a mod in geck , and testing the results in game. Which I learned to clear up with always toggling archive invalidation at load order launch.

Turn Off/remove then On/apply before hitting the launch button.

Thought it worth a mention as an easy fix to try.
