BrotherXil
No introductions, just information. This will be a wall of text, if you do not like reading, this isn't your place. Okay, so, The Dovahkiin (You) has Akatosh's blood, correct? So did the Septims. Therefor, it COULD be possible that you, The Dovahkiin, are a Septim. This started before I got my Skyrim copy for PC and when I was playing on my PS3. As a die-hard Empire fan, I could never help the Stormcloaks. (I also could -never- stand seeing BLUE ARMORED GUARDS IN SOLITUDE, LIKE, IT'S RED, COME ON.) Ehem, personal reasons aside, I couldn't justify killing the Emperor, and I would never destroy the Dark Brotherhood, a stable assassination guild is far better than 12 unstable ones. So, how does a Legionairre justify killing the Emperor of Cyrodiil?Military Coup. I have -no- experience with modding of any kind, except playing them, of course, and so after sitting on my idea for about 5 months, I've finally decided to ask for help. What I hope to do is to create a quest, given to the player by Tullius, upon completing the Civil War questline, with orders to infiltrate the Dark Brotherhood, to uncover a threat to Imperial security. From there the Dark Brotherhood questline would play out, until the contract on the Emperor is received. Upon that, you would get another objective on your infiltration quest to report this development to General Tullius.General Tullius turns out to be in on the plot to assassinate the Emperor, with the idea that a more military-oriented Empire would serve better. You're told to carry on with the mission as planned, and then to take out the Elder Council Member (His name eludes me), to cut Tullius' loose ends. Now, upon meeting with the Emperor, he will have had a vision of his death by the hand of the True Emperor. He will remark this as you strike him down. Mentioning this to Tullius or not could effect on which side he takes during what is now your coup. What I'm asking for is for any modders interested to contact me. I won't ask for team leader position, but I will ask that my ideas be considered first and foremost. What I'm needing altogether is a complete re-make of the Imperial City, in Skyrim. I'm not familiar with Skyrim CK elements, but I'm guessing they'd lack the textures needed for that sort of project. Could there be a way to import them? I'd really like to see atleast this idea kick off. I have a long backstory that brings you into it gradually through a personal mercenary company, with this being the endgame reward, but I've yet to get enough of it developed, I'm still on characters.Anyone who is in the least bit interested, please shoot me a message on the forums, post a comment, or email me at [email protected]Please and thank you. Dudeman325
In a way, yes, the Dragonborn is a Septim, but I look at it in a slightly more "divine blood" context than a "royal blood." I think the systems were in place to make a game where the Dragonborn became king of the Empire / Skyrim, but beth chose not to because it isn't part of the story they wanted to write. There is a reason why the war between the Stormcloaks and the Empire isn't the main story (you even temporarily resolve it during the main story). You are a divine-infused Dragonslayer who has to save the world because some giant God-Dragon is going to eat it if you don't. Killing him is the reward, even if it isn't necessarily all that difficult. This is bigger than which man sits on a throne. The royal blood of the Empire was important when the Dragonfires had to be lit, but Martin fixed that problem. BrotherXil
I personally think it's still a pretty good idea, for it's a mod, not the vanilla game.Just because Beth didn't put it in doesn't mean it's not a good idea. And, by the way, this isn't a main quest replacer, I hope to eventually overhaul the Civil War Questline, for it bored me. And, an Empire with a man with Divine Blood leading them is likely going to fare better than most other rulers would. triciaking13
Personally, I feel as if becoming emperor after defeating Alduin is a wonderful idea, seeing that there is not much else to do as far as "main quests" are concerned. Although there are tons of side quests that really get you nowhere (aside from experience and leveling) it would be better if there was a master end game, rather than running the country-side looking for trouble or causing it yourself...so, yes, a dragonborn/emperor quest would be perfect! Trust and believe, if I knew how to create a DLC for this idea, it would have been done already...I'm a bit of a perfectionist also, so it would have to mesh well with the other main quests as well...it would definitely have to come AFTER Alduin is stopped. ShadowOfGodless
Ok you say it's POSSIBLE but that's about as likely as you being related to Queen Elizabeth. I would rather have it that you claim the throne with YOUR dragon blood and not the whole i'm a Septim thing.
