RocketPropelled
Hi there, I have a very strange problem. If I place down an object and go back to it later it will have moved slightly, rifles move more than pistols. It is a very strange thing that is bugging me slightly. Any ideas? Xaranth
Do you mean in the GECK, when working on your mod? In game, using the grab key after drop to place an item?
RocketPropelled
Hi,The objects move in game, normally about the length of the item itself. It is like they are possessed... Only happens on downloaded guns like the M14 and SKS oddly..
chucksteel
I had a similar issue in my mod DCinteriors, My custom items would start to fall through the tables and, shelves they were placed on. Every time the player returned home they would have dropped a little more and, eventually they would fall through the floor. The once I converted the mod to a .esm the problem stopped and, all my items would stay in place. I would try converting the mods that have this issue to .esm with FNVedit or TESnip and, see if you still have the issue. hope this helps. chuck
devinpatterson
I think chucksteel has the answer for you, as I recall similar threads, but you can also try enabling havoc on an item after you'v placed it and it may help as well to keep your poltergeist activity to a minimum. chucksteel
You can also use TESnip for this and, it is much easier! 1. Open FOMM go to tools TESnip 2. open the mod you want to convert to an, esm. 3. Find Toggle master in one of the menus (I forget which one at the moment) 4. Save Done and Done, the mod you loaded is now and .esm Hope that helps.
RocketPropelled
Quick question, Can I use NMM and FOMM at the same time? Also I really like your interiors mods, still trying to get into the bank vault.... Thanks.
chucksteel
Quick question, Can I use NMM and FOMM at the same time? Also I really like your interiors mods, still trying to get into the bank vault.... Thanks. You can, i have both NMM and FOMM installed and, they both work fine. I Prefer NMM but, it doesn't have all the modding tools so I keep FOMM around for them. Remember, once you convert the mods to .esm's you'll need to go find the items again because the game will see it as a different file and, will reset them but, it should stop your moving item problem.
