JohnHardBoiled
Hi! First of all please excuse my bad english. My phrases might sound a little bit weird sometimes :D I already searched for a similar topic but i found neither. If there is already a topic like mine plz tell me that and post me the link :) What would you guys say if there is no save option in the game and u actually can not die?If you get knocked out via a wild animal you wake up in a bed and if bandits catch you they cage you. If u get "knocked out" you wake up in a bed somewhere and someone treated you but u loose ability points (dont know the exact name in english) like if u get locked in.Or you get knocked out by bandits or something similar they will cage you and you loose ability points. Or the bandits just chain you if there is no cage where they catched you^^. Then you have to escape and search for your gear. You can loose an amount of your gold too or the whole gold you owned. like the costs for the treating (could be a percentaged amount for example) and if bandits catched you they just took all your gold and maybe you can get it back from a bandit or it is stored in a box. I think the game would be much more thrilling if their is no save option and bandits can catch you instead of dieing and just pressing the button to load from the last save point. The money in the game would gain more worth. Because at a certain point of the game u have so much gold that it doesnt matter how much exactly you have.Probably there is already a mod for it but there could be a function that you need to repair your gear too. greetingsJohnHardBoiled :) Edited December 13, 2012 by JohnHardBoiled
Dudeman325
If you try to look at the meta-game behind the lore, some people like to think that the save-game system is part of this "power" that relates to CHIM, being "Dragonborn", and possibly Lorkhan / Shezzar or his many other aspects. Don't know how to do this myself, just giving my perspective. :) Your English is fine by the way, no need to apologize for it. Sometimes we don't even understand each other in the same language. Jitansgate
There is no point to remove Dying or Saving sense people can Create Armor with Smithing and Enchanting that makes them Unbeatable. I have seen some Crafted Armors with a Defense of 500K or Higher.
JohnHardBoiled
Haha thx Dudeman :) Yea the save option is really very dragonborn :DSometimes I`m very glad to be dragonborn but in other cases I think it would be nice to know that I better take care of my backside or I loose something. If I had an armor with 500k defense I wouldn`t need a mod like this too haha^^ but instead of a 500k armor I could just decrease the difficulty.I have some mods installed to increase the difficulty very much and no special amor mods or something. For example if a bad guy hits me with a great sword I am dead in most cases^^ or those damn mages can kill me in a second too. But because I am more the sneaky guy in skyrim I like the fact that I have big problems if I get detected :D Is there an option to change the title of the topic by the way? Dudeman325
I understand some people don't want to be The Dragonborn, but every play through, no matter what you do, Alduin's there looming over your heads, waiting to eat the world, and no one else can stop him but You. Mehrunes Dagon (at least I think that was him in the Aldugadda) isn't around to trick him away right now. As far as changing topic titles, I'm not sure. I don't make too many new threads, I just reply to requests mostly, and try to pick out ones that I can do and want to do in the time that I can make them.
