MaeroTheMaestro73
I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how to even get to the cell I've picked out - it's next to a Glowing Sea Point Of Interest [have no idea what those even are] and it's a wilderness cell. There are... no reference points at all, no way to pop up the world map that I've found so far, and my wilderness cell is surrounded by more wilderness. So while I have a fully functional location complete with navmesh map marker and encounters, I have no clue how to get the player to actually get to the location without using console commands.I could just go to someplace else like the Crater Of Atom and build in an adjacent cell, but I want my location to be kind of remote. If anyone's curious, I've picked out -26, -33 for my cell. YouDoNotKnowMyName
That's not that far away from the "big crater". Just a few cells south and a bit west ...You could make the map-marker for the location permanently visible (for testing purposes ... ), so that you can see it even if you didn't already discover the place. Yeah, the Glowing Sea can be a bit hard to navigate and it can be hard to find what you are looking for if you are actually in the game ... I have not spent much time there myself, but once I used an "alternate start mod" with a random starting location and I ended up atarting there. At level 1. Not good ...Getting out of the Glowing Sea is easier then finding something within. (Just run northwest as fast as you can and hope there are no Deathclaws or Rad-Scorpions ... ) Per definition, a "remote location" is not somewhere that lots of people would go ... SKKmods
If you have a discrete map marker with travel enabled, setup a no name LinkREF to any ObjectReference in your cell(s) and that will fast travel to the object. Best is to place an XmarkerHeading, but it can be anything even a bush or tree (that is not a precombine).
