dave991199
I have this problem that the ground/terrain textures are looks good for a few meters then it looks blurry, muddy. Every other wall, object, LOD texture looks good except the ground texture. I checked some youtube videos and screenshots and people don't have blurry ground textures. I thought there's a texture fading option somewhere in the oblivion.ini but i can't find any. ( I have Qarls Texture Pack III Full v1_3 and it's fixes installed and Landscape LOD Texture Replacement, all ingame settings are on max/high) http://i.imgur.com/nzT7A.jpg http://i.imgur.com/VkKNl.jpg
Hickory
Quit the game and delete your \Documents\My Games\Oblivion\oblivion.ini file. Restart the game *from the launcher*. This will re-initialise the ini file correctly, and give you back the defaults. Re-tweak (step-by-step) as necessary.
dave991199
Forcing 16x Anisotropic Filtering on the Oblivion.exe in the Nvidia control panel solved the problem.
