Radioactivelad
How Is it possible to exclude generic race dialogue from my new npcs? Basically I want to have an Imperial NPC that doesn't speak Wes Johnson lines. In the Fallout Geck we have Voice Types that define a lot of base dialogue, so it's just a matter of creating a new Voice Type, but Oblivion ties it directly to Race. NPCS with unique voices like Martin and Mankar seems to use Factions to handle this, but I'm not seeing any obvious condition checks to *exclude* the normal imperial/high elf lines in their dialogue, so I'm not sure how that's being done. I know I could just duplicate Races (marked as unplayable, of course) and build dialogue via GetisId checks as is usual in the Geck, but surely there must be a more efficient solution. mixxa77
Creating new higher priority dialogue/topics for unavoidable topics like GREETING, Rumors, etc. with faction or id conditions to only work for them should work, I can't think of another way. (Though it has been a while since I have done any dialogue editing.) Edited April 10, 2020 by mixxa77
