KusoTTK231
So I've tried searching for a while now but I haven't seen anyone with my problem with GECK yet.Didn't change anything on my game, then suddenly GECK started not opening properly. Starting/title window shows up briefly, then disappears and the GECK is just there in the background. It's on the task bar and the Task Manager says it's working, but clicking on the icon won't bring it up and mousing over it the window is just white.I've tried reinstalling it and New Vegas to no avail.Curiously, putting the FO3 GECK in New Vegas folder, it starts up properly even if it can't actually load anything. Somehow I got GECK to work, but the object and render windows are missing.Anyone have advice? Edited April 8, 2020 by KusoTTK231

dubiousintent
Sounds like something got set in an INI file, which is in your "C:\Users" folder. Re-installing isn't guaranteed to replace an existing INI file. You mentioned "GECK Powerup", which is an "addon". Be sure to delete it's INI as well, and I would suggest you switch over to the "GECK Extender NVSE Plugin" instead which is both more recent, extensive, and updated. If you haven't already, check out the "Common Problems with GECK" section of the wiki "Getting started creating mods using GECK" article. -Dubious- Edited April 8, 2020 by dubiousintent
Mktavish
Ya just move all the Geck .ini stuff out of ... Mydocuments/ MyGames / FalloutNVAnd relaunch it.But what you're describing kinda sounds like you had dual monitors running , moved stuff around between them. Now you are just running 1 monitor. What did you do to get at least some of it showing up now?Try some different display settings too.
