XenoVars
Hi! Is it possible if anyone can make a new mod limit fix that lets you use up to 1000 mods? I'm using the Mod Limit Fix and Mod Limit Adjuster https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3643?tab=posts https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3711?tab=posts I have 229 Mods, 371 Scripts, 14 XMLs, 222 Bundles. It works perfectly, but issues starts to arrive once you hit 230 Mods+. It starts to do random crashing, infinite loading times and so on. I'm wondering if there's a way to go beyond it? The two above hadn't had an update for more than a year. So I was wondering if someone can make a new version or a completely new mod that bypasses this limit? I still haven't installed: Visuals/Reshades, HD Reworked Project; New Final Update v16 Summer 2020Blood and Wine Mods - Haven't started the game yetThe Wild Nudity Project and Curvy and Busty Mods :)ProCiri - Trying to figure this out for compatibility with Level Scaling ModMulti Companion Enhanced Mods - Waiting for update to use in ToussaintAppearance Mod Menu (AMM) - For More CostumesGWENT Rebalances - Too many to choose from, figuring it out which goes for my playstyle If Skyrim can reach up to 1000+ mods. Then I really hope Witcher 3 can do it as well. So yes, Witcher 3 still has so many mods and the community is still going strong. May not be as big as Skyrim community, but it's up there when it comes to passion and drive! Edited April 12, 2020 by XenoVars
nnikkellsen
Step 1) Find an old priest and a young priest Step 2) Ignore step 1, but MAKE A COPY OF YOUR ORIGINAL WITCHER3.EXE FILE so you have a backup if things go wrong. Step 3) Do it yourself The 1st link in your post has the following link at the bottom of its description section https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/guide-mod-limit-fix.11004427/ At the top of this linked page is a TLDR telling you how to do it yourself in just a few steps. Step 4) Before following the steps in the tldr double check that you completed step 2 and have a copy of your original witcher3.exe file so you have a backup if things go wrong. Step 5) There's an image below the TLDR section, if you right click it and choose view image you'll get a larger version that can actually be read. This is an image of the hexed.it page with 3 red circles. The top right circle is where you will enter each of the 4 possible addresses he gives. The top left circle is where you'll enter the value you want for your new mod limit. The bottom circle is where you'll check for C0 00 00 00. (If you are wondering wtf is C0 00 00 00, it's 192 expressed as a little-endian 4byte hex number, if you use 1024 as you new mod limit this will become 00 04 00 00). Step 6) He gives 4 possible addresses where C0 00 00 00 may appear (depending on which version of witcher3 you are running). At hexed.it enter each address at the place indicated by the top right red circle in his image, then check the number highlighted at the bottom of the hexed.it page to see if it is C0 00 00 00. One of the four addresses should be it. (For me the address turned out to be 0xB967A6 but you will need to determine what it is for you). Step 7) When you have C0 00 00 00 highlighted at the bottom of the hexed.it page, enter what you want as your new mod limit at the place indicated by the top left red circle in his image. Step 8 ) When you've made your change hit export on the hexed.it page and it will download the witcher3.exe file you just patched. If none of the 4 addresses work for you he has another way to search for it in his longer explanation. If this all fails you are back to finding an old priest and a young priest, good luck. Edited April 16, 2020 by nnikkellsen
