onyko
Been working on a new weapon for this game here:[WIP] Ion Sniper Rifle but i ran across a problem. when getting it into nifskope, the model is mis-aligned. I originally took the sniper rifle and used it as a base for all the parts, like trigger, clip, scope, stock, etc. After copying the niftristripdata, it looks like the included pic. now how do place them correctly? SpeedyB64
When importing into nifscope this kind of thing tends to happen. All you need to do is adjust the X, Y, Z coordinates for the position. For example if you change the X value for the clip from 12.497... to 5.0 the clip will move, then you just need to change the numbers until you have it where you want it. Anyway check out the link later on, i might have another update.
Phoynix
Sorry I posted that stuff in the wrong thread :)*SIGH*That gun looks cool :) now go to post what I ment to post on the other gun in the other thread :P Note to self, dont open 30+ posts at the same time and tab between them and reply to more then one at a time while also playing x3 Terran Conflict and trying to look at the X3 Forums for help with bugs. Err I forgot what I ment to say sooo. Dont clear transform data before you insert your transform on clips, I am not sure why but when you do the clip ends up in the wrong spot moved as if locked to the old cords, reloading the gun in game puts it in the right spot till you put it away and get it back out but this is annoying. I assume it will do the same thing to other parts that move, stationaly parts are easy, just clear transformation on the mesh and it should reset exactly as how it was saved compared to whatever gun you were using as a guide. I wish my nifskope didn't crash so much.
