[Mod Request] Roads

Given that the Empire is basically an expy of later day Rome, where's all the roads between their settlements?

 

I would settle for a dirt path between settlements and towns.

 

Anyways, is it possible to modify the worldmap so as to include roads on the map that give a bonus to movement speed? And, if so, would it be possible to railroad caravans onto these roads?
