That would make the most sense.

I have followed some of your posts elsewhere and while I can understand someone being upset at not getting credit, I'd assume you are the type of person who would very much like to correct the situation. Thank you for your work. While I generally prefer mods which keep to lore, your work was so appealing I downloaded just about everything you have put on Nexus. I hope this situation does find a way to be resolved and you will return to modding. tnx, drrhodes
pehisjon
Your work should not be hidden away, cwheel. Like drrhodes, I generally prefer mods that are a little more lore friendly but I have also downloaded nearly everything you've posted, in appreciation of it's quality and imagination. I do use and enjoy your work when I'm in the mood for something a little different. That's the whole point of modding, isn't it? I would hope that a simple apology to the originator of the mesh for the oversight and giving due credit would suffice. I'm very tired of good modders being driven off or taking their work private when trivialities such as this get blown out of all proportion. binaryme
It seems a real shame to remove all of your fine work due to one misunderstanding :( Personally, I'm new to the modding community, but it seems to me that the whole premise behind it is people coming together and sharing work and ideas to make Oblivion a more fun game for us all. Hopefully adding credit for the mesh to your files will solve it and you can put the files back up. I'm missing them already, and was looking forward to seeing your further creations! All the best, whatever you decide to do :)

I only recently found this out myself, but I'm not surprised after what I've seen in the last 6 months since I discovered the game and community. It's shameful. Colourwheel is only guilty of trying to make something creative and unique for the free enjoyment of all. A forgotten credit can easily be rectified, yet personalities and egos are allowed to divide this community and prove we deserve the bad rep we've earned. Why aren't we better than this? I don't understand it. We all stand to lose, if we don't step up and be the hero in times like these.
Lucherenren
Colourwheel, I 've read in the updates subforum that the situation between you and Psychego is fortunately evolving towards a peaceful solution. Good to know that. Still, I second the comments posted so far: you made an accidental mistake, and your reaction was, to say the least, extremely courteous and honorable in front of the accusations being made. For the record, both my work experience and my past hobby of gamemastering suggest that when you are dealing with a misunderstanding, it's often best to talk in private to the other person involved. While Psychego deserves being added to your work's credits because of the contributed material, in my opinion it was also a bit too forward to sign up on the forum and address the issue in public. It is my view of things of course, everybody's free to disagree. And Myrmaad, you wouldn't believe how often this happens in the media industry, as well, even for institutions and no-profit organizations... I didn't know, but it's no surprise to me from other gaming forums just how much bad feeling can be generated. All we can do as individuals is try to stick to the same standards we use in everyday life, which hopefully involves a little consideration and good manners :) In fact one of the reasons I commented here - alongside the quality of Colourwheel's work - was the fact that she seems very amiable and helpful in the comments sections, and it would be a loss to the community.
