NorthernIv Posted December 17, 2012 Share Posted December 17, 2012 (edited) I'm having lower framerates than i should IMO AMD Phenom X4 BE 3.7GHZ 6mb l3 cache8GB 1333mhz DDR3 ram2GB GTX 660 SC500GB WD 7200RPM hard driveWindows 7 I used to run the game at about 30+ frames all the time with every mod currently on my game, but recently it dropped down to around 20fps in some areas. Almir Posted December 17, 2012 Share Posted December 17, 2012 Did you: - Patched Skyrim to the latest version. - Installed the latest drivers for your system. - Installed/modified some mods or ini files. You can try: - Defraging your system. - Rollback to some older version of Skyrim and even your video drivers. - Close eveything that you don't need when playing Skyrim, playing Skyrim while having 50 tabs in your internet browser and virus scanner running tends to slow down the game :) Did you install something important before you're Skyrim was running at 30+ FPS? like Windows Updates, Video Drivers etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
