nostromo1971
Greetings, can someone tell me whether the current techniques to make a mod (FO3Edit-Dump-etc) will no longer be useful when bethesda leave the SDK? I am interested in learning to do some basic mod but if the mod SDK includes all the tools, I could wait instead download many independent programs. Thank you very much. machine translation - sorry english
Midicow
We don't know if there will be limitations in the G.E.C.K. like Oblivion, and as such you should start learning with the community tools as they not only pertain to the G.E.C.K. and modding in general, but they may still be useful post-G.E.C.K. release. nostromo1971
As you say, the SDK Oblivion included limitations as to be the same engine would also be expected to be in Fallout 3. I Will Try to modify some basic texture and wait to find out what is contained in the SDK. Very grateful.
jaysus
the geck will prolly not be able to modify textures and models, i hope theyll have exporters but i doubt even that... for oblivion they didnt release any as they said the community tools are enough... devs are lazy too... and i bet we retards made a big mistake by making tutorials and tools yet as theyll most likely come with the same statement again :P
