Outlaw141841
So I have found several mods that change the damage output of auto receivers to match their semi-auto counterparts, but I am trying to edit a specific modded weapon (Service Rifle by Deadpool) to match with my updated vanilla damages. I have been digging through Fo4edit and can't seem to find any mention of how adding an automatic receiver drops my damage. Any help would be appreciated! robotized
Check in category Object Modification. The object modifications for weapons have a bunch of Properties that change the value, weight, attack damage, keywords, range and so on. You should look for something like this Property:Value type->FloatFunction type->MUL+ADDProperty->AttackDamageValue1-Float->0.25Value2-Float->0.00Step->0.00 I think this example means that the damage is increased by 25%. The Value could be negative(-0.25), which is the case most of the time for automatic receivers.
StormWolf01
In Xedit, this is the section that robotized is talking about. What I highlighted in blue is the area that you want to edit. The area that I used an arrow to point to is the exact figure that you'd want to edit. In this case, the weapon attachment (reciever) is set to decrease damage by 0.5% So if you set that to 0 it will get rid of the penalty. Or if you set it for something such as 0.025000 (no minus sign there) it will INcrease the damage by whatever percent. Now, I'm also going to use this pic for another thread. But will go ahead and pass along the info for that too. The area that I highlighted in Yellow, is for how much that particular receiver increases the fire rate. or, how fast it cranks out shots. Increasing or decreasing that, will affect how fast it shoots. Tho, I don't recommend making HUGE adjustments til you know what you're doing. Perhaps in a range of +/- 0.005000

StormWolf01
Heyas Outlaw. Glad you got it taken care of :)LOL yeah, I know whatcha mean. My very first project like this was figuring out how to get rid of the range penalty from equipping a BAYONET.I wasn't real familiar with the inner workings of the Beth games in Xedit at the time, and I pretty much just ended up hunting through all the gun's files, til I found it.ANYways. Glad you got it taken care of.-Storm
