VolcanicMelodies
Hello everyone. I want to adjust experience rate but i am confused. How this system works? For example i want to create specific item that increases smithing greatly. How can i adjust that? I want to make some items less profitable and some of them much. IsharaMeradin
Experience gain with smithing... By default, the more expensive an item's gold value, the more experience points are gained when that item is crafted. So if you want to have a huge boost in smithing when crafting a single item, give that item a huge gold value.

I know i can create specific items for this but is there any other way? Like the Ultima Online system? Give me the x orcish warhammer for (prize) or anything different? IsharaMeradin
You can gain smithing experience in a number of additional ways via mods. Some may by consistent with your immersion. There are mods that allow experience gain when using the smelter. There are mods that allow small amounts of experience gain when mining. There is the uncapper mod which allows you to make modifications to the overall rate of skill experience gain among other things. However, I know of no way to change the default mechanic of an item's gold value directly affecting the experience gain when crafting said item. Also, I have no idea what the Ultima Online system was as I never played it. If you are wanting an item that you can equip or a potion that you can drink which will improve the results your smithing, that is possible.
