AnubisRaven
I liked how in Oblivion and Morrowind, you couldn't really do anything to ghosts and spirits unless you had an enchanted or silver weapon. Could we bring this into Skyrim, where ghosts are just transparent people? Not sure how hard this would be, but it seems like it would be fairly minor. I looked, but couldn't find anything like this, so would be cool to know if someone could do this, or if there is a mod that does this.
Liara7LF
Needs to be done. Skyrim ghosts and spirits aren't as good as those in oblivion. Terror of the haunted house mission without having a silver weapon...
lsmbird
I'm trying to discover how to do it. Talking with otter members, it seems its would be possible via perks... but i have not figure it yet. making they intangible almost like we become when using become ethereal. Rennn
It would might be simpler just to increase ghosts physical defense to like 9000%, and increase the damage bonus of silver weapons against undead by like 9000%. nihiliu
Already done :P but i would like draugr to be immune as well. Since we don't have many ghosts in skyrim...http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36525/?
lsmbird
Already done  but i would like draugr to be immune as well. Since we don't have many ghosts in skyrim...http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36525/?Good mod! BUT I had found to the same result of this mod when I trying to do it, and like my results, this mod has one difference for what we had in oblivion: Arrows still stick in the ghost instead of fly trough they. in oblivion the arrows just go through the gosts like air and the swords do not touched they as well... Oh well, i'll keep on trying to make this. The 'etherealize' archetype effect have this kind of "intangibility", but it affects magic too and dispels when the user perform some action like attack... chanchan05
Maybe it's a mod, but are the ghost's just transparent people in vanilla? In my game they're invulnerable except for the time when they solidify so they can hit you.
Ketchaval
This always felt wrong, like the 'ghosts' were just people who'd drunk potions of invisibility. (That and wanting to see a Dementor-type enemy that would drain your Magicka/Stamina and Vitality on touch.

You probably have some kind of mod running that makes all ghosts "ethereal" like in the "become ethereal shout". i belive they do solidify when they perform actions like attacking you, and once they solidify they come dont come back to "invulnerable" state, am I right? Nope. Initially they're ethereal until right before they attack. You have like a half second window before and after the attack where they're vulnerable, then they become invulnerable again until the next time they start an attack. They're invulnerable to both physical and magic I think. LOL.This is what happens when the last time you played Skyrim was before any DLCs was out (I think I stopped after completing a second playthrough, and it was just the 1.7? patch) then I began last year again when I got all DLCs but modded immediately. I forgot what vanilla is like LOL. Maybe it's SkyRe.
