joker1231978
Keep in mind that I'm the type of guy who likes to poke around to see how someone done something in their mod. I managed to apply a fix to a mod myself even though the author found the problem lol. I've also managed to basically combine some really simple mods together. Well.... I've run across another one of those mods that has a slight issue with a tiny section with the navmesh. The author hasn't touched the mod since September so I'm thinking he 'might' not care about it anymore. I decided to watch a couple of videos about navmeshing since the issue is basically one doorway. Here's my problem.... The CK crashes EVERYTIME trying to load the mod. I've noticed that the difference between this mod and all other mods I've opened is this particular one has three parents versus the usual one parent. Any guidance is helpful. I just want to fix this tiny spot so my followers can get back through the door. That's right... They can force their way in along the edge of the wall but then they can't leave lol. Thanks! Deleted1308005User
you need to enable multiple master files for creation kit.Sadly, I've been away from Skyrim/creation kit for couple of days so I can't remember the exact line how to do it. Try googling "Enable multiple master files Creation kit"Or something similar.
tyrannynexus
you need to open "SkyrimEditor" in your main foldier and add Dawnguard and Hearthfires to "SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim" mine looks like this SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa, HearthFires.bsa EDIT: if it has other masters you'll need to add those as well obviously. joker1231978
I added the this line in the skyrimeditor.ini with no luck: bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1Result? Still crashes... So I tired adding the same line to the skyrimeditorprefs.ini. Same results.... Now I'm getting aggravated. I hate when software kicks my arse... It crashes at 89% while loading the update.esm everytime.... EDIT: I guess I should have hit F5 on this page lol. Adding stuff now... joker1231978
Thanks guys! I'm in.... Funny thing.... One of the warnings was about two triangles with navmesh issues. It's probably the tiny area I need to fix lol.
joker1231978
Good news and bad news.... Good News: The navmesh is fixed. I was able to take my follower everywhere without her getting stuck. Bad news: It messed up the two NPC's that are in the mod. They just stand there now instead of moving around. I can't win to lose lol. I'll get it fixed....
tyrannynexus
haha things like that can certainly happen. You can try raising them a little more off the ground maybe the navmesh around them was effected slightly by your change and they're stuck on the ground?. edit: potentially same with the idle markers Edited December 23, 2012 by tyrannynexus
