LargeStyle
Guys, I'd like to know what I need to do to load all full LOD trees and not have any lower LOD being used. I've tweaked around with my SkyrimPrefs.ini and I'm currently using the mod Trees LODs with shadows by Xtudo, but this for me doesn't really cut it. Here's what I've ended up with... http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/6052/tesv2012122216153464.jpg As you can see it has 3 "tiers" going on - full LOD with shadows, Full LOD without shadows, and low LOD with emulated shadows - not good. FYI: My environmental mods are: Lush Trees, Lush Grass, Enhanced Distant Terrain, Improved rock and mountain textures, high realistic tundra moss, Realistic Water Textures and Terrain. Any helps is always appreciated.
darkgondul
Uhm, personaly I'm using the Illuminated Tree LOD, it's the best for me and I'm using the Texture Combiner, so there's a lot of variety, then I suggest you to give a look at the Skyrim Configurator for the .ini tweaks, you can do a lot with that, examples: http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/2449/2012122200003.jpg http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/2171/2012122200009.jpg http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/9127/2012122200019.jpg
LargeStyle
Hi darkgondul, and thanks! I've not seen the Illuminated Tree LOD mod before. Just tried it, and along with yesterdays .ini tweaks (made via the DNA - Do Not Argue - website) and my Skyrim looks better. It's not perfect, but It'll have to do. http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/1290/tesv2012122311584654.jpg Thanks again. I'm off now away for Christmas, so Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays to you  Edited December 23, 2012 by LargeStyle
