Homepage leading to sub-pages

Im not sure if this has been suggested before but its something that has bugging me the whole time i've been visiting nexus.

Not sure if I can describe this very well but here goes.

 

When you are on a games homepage and you can browse the mods and media and whatnot, you can click on new this week or popular all time or etc,

once you scroll to the bottom you can view more, that then takes you to the subsequent sub-page for that topic.

 

I would like to suggest it start on page two instead of page one, because you've already looked at page one when scrolling down, so you must scroll down again to get to page two,

which always struck me as an unnecessary action that is performed too often and can be streamlined to provide a better interface for the user.
