Vault 106 Issue with Dad's face/hair

Hi all - I have a small problem with the dad hallucination in Vault 106 displaying the incorrect face/hair when I am running the Unofficial Patch and/or Vault 106 fixes mod. If I have the mods deactivated the dad looks like the normal Caucasian version of himself, but with both or either one of the said mods he is a bald wrinkly old dude... I know Vault 106 has a few problems in vanilla so I want to go through with the mods for the bug fixes and although the appearance of Dad is not game breaking it is driving me nuts. I have tried deleting references to Dad in both .esps but none of the obvious references are correcting it. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

I'm going to take a guess and say it is out of order compatibility patches, out of order DLC plugins and too many files in the data folder. You are pushing the limit or maybe have gone over it with the files you have in the load order.

 

Compatibility patches must load after the last mod being patched.

 

Mods with plugins for the DLCs should be in the same order as the DLCs.

Hmm.. Load order is good per Loot and I have all my mods loaded through Mod Organizer and am about 30 mods from the limit, should be ok?. Outside of some random CTD's here and there due to too much load and FO3 being poorly optimized, my game has been running fine. This particular issue is just visual, really. As I said, when I run into the dad hallucination without the Unofficial patch .esm or the Vault 106 fixes.esp loaded he appears as normal. If I try one or the other, or both, he is as he appears in the screenshot I posted. Thanks for the help though, I will keep trying.

With 122 .esm/.esp files in the data folder, you are pushing the limit, which is usually about 130.

 

With my equipment I can't have more than 120 files before strange things start to happen.

 

If that load order was generated by LOOT, it is one of the best I have seen. However, it is still not correct.

 

As I stated before, mods with plugins for the DLCs should be in the same order as the DLCs.
