Gamerbird
Hello.I have been trying to upload an image for several minutes now.I have typed in all the information, accepting the terms and conditions, browsed for the file and selected it.However, when I finish browsing nothing shows up in the box.I still click upload and it doesn't find any file so it doesn't upload. The file is in .jpg and I have tried it in .gif but neither of them work. Could anyone give me any suggestions of what the problem may be.
buddah
Is java enabled and are you logged into the main site?

Gaerzi
Speaking about uploading images, could the PNG type be allowed? It compresses better than GIF, and for some graphics is a better choice than JPG because it is lossless.

LHammonds
Speaking about uploading images, could the PNG type be allowed? It compresses better than GIF, and for some graphics is a better choice than JPG because it is lossless. It would be nice but the site's code does not support PNG (I don't think) so when images are uploaded, the thumbnails would be black because it could not re-create a smaller thumbnail image of it like it can for JPG. But Dark0ne is the only one who knows for sure about this. Gamerbird, what is the path, filename and size of the file you are trying to upload? Does it look like it is trying to upload or does it immediately go to the next page? Example: File: C:\Downloads\Myfile.jpgSize: 25kb LHammonds
Gamerbird
LHammons it does nothing. It doesn't write the path name in the box or anything. Also when I click Upload, it goes to a page saying that the name can contain..... Buddah, I logged out and back in and it still did it. I also tried in IE and it wrote the path in the box but then also came up with the page about the name can contain.....The name of the file is Oblivion.jpg sp I don't see anything wrong with it. LHammonds
Sounds like JavaScript is not enabled or not allowed to run because of your browser settings or security software (plugins, anti-virus, firewall) LHammonds

Gamerbird
LHammonds, Java is enabled in both of them Firefox and IE. Buddah, I have just tried this and it still does the same thing for both of them.
