BCbrad
I to start a new build, but unlike the 5 I already have, I don't want to level smithing or enchanting. I don't want to use perks to be able to smith daedric or dragon armor nor duel enchant. I am sure there is a mod out there or some console cheats, but I'd like to find a way to play this way with the benefits of the armors and enchanting, but I'd like to be able to maintain some level of role playing. Any suggestions? PS: Happy holidays and all that good stuff.
gsmanners
If you want enchanted weapons and armor without using the craft, you'll need to use the console cheat: playerenchantobject objectID effectID effectID For objectID, you can use just about any generic weapon or armor. For effects, you can use just about any MGEF you can find. Use the help command to find whatever you're looking for.
WatchMeGoing
OR you can simply add the perks via console, so you don't have to spend any perk points on it. First, find the perk ID you want in the console with help "perk name" 4 Then add the perk with: player.addperk perkID You don't need the appropriate level, nor any of the required perks that you would normally need. For example, you can add the dragon armor perk without training smithing and no other perks in smithing.
