Wolfstorm
Anyone here tried to use neural networks to generate voice files? I'm gathering information about it, and want to know where to start. Where can I download a neural network program? How can I use it to generate voices for Skyrim? Yesterday I visited the site for the Wavenet project: https://deepmind.com/blog/article/wavenet-generative-model-raw-audio But they are still developing it. Is there a parametric solution I could use for mods?
cumbrianlad
Short answer no. I'd never even heard of it! i read that article and listened to the samples. It was fascinating. I'm guessing you were hoping to get a tool that could 'listen' to a load of Skyrim lines like FemaleCommander, then reproduce the voice from text... ... that would be incredible for modders. All of a sudden we could fully voice quests with brand new lines for a load of vanilla NPCs. My guess from that article is that it's a long way off, yet and I'd bet there won't be a free version for even longer. Still, I'll keep my eyes open now that you made me aware of it. If I find anything I'll be sure to let you know.
