Denis517
Since most of the robes are, in my opinion, ugly; I was hoping that somebody could make a set of robes similar to the Greybeard's robes from Skyrim. If you will do this then these pictures should help: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/File:TESV_GreybeardsRobe.png http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/File:Greybeard.jpg Thank you for your time. littlestbirds
How Ironic that I stumbled upon this while searching for a similar mod before deciding to take the matter into my own hands.Sorry my comment is probably irrelevant as I'm unfamiliar with the tool-set and have a great deal of learning left before I'd be able to produce a viable, conflict-free mod. =\. Anyhow, I did stumble on Wings of Velvet these unique robes for male and female mages. They didn't suit my character but they're definitely worth looking into. Denis517
I didn't see those while looking for robes. Thank you. They don't completely suit my arcane warrior\spirit healer, but it's definitely something I am going to use.
Carley910
I agree that most of the mage robes do not look good. I particularly dislike the chasind robes for women. I really like those TES robes you posted and they'd be a cool replacement robe.
littlestbirds
Hm. As an arcane warrior, you have an abundance of in-game armor to choose from with decent stats for a BM SP healer. That said, I'm accustomed to playing on PS3. I swear, some gear was just plain painful to look at lol. When I first loaded DAO on the PC (I swear I'm not that much of a freak) I was utterly amazed at the grass when I arrived at Ostagar. It was like playing an entirely different game ... and the sound effects! Wow. Errr enough about my fascination with the texture of weeds  Anyhow, I wound up playing around with the original mage robes using this mod Universal Dye Kit alongside http://nezroy.com/DAOTintCreator/ to alter the color & texture. For instance, I hate the square padding on the upper chest alongside the gaudy orange color the original female elven robes have. The look suits my red haired, green eyed elven warden perfectly. Hope that helps. Although, I assume you knew about that mod as it seems fairly common. I dislike how revealing Oracle robes are for females yet the male ones seemed rather attractive.Oh, interesting sidenote: these robes aren't compatible with the dye kit, but if you want to dye your weapons/staff equip one and select the tint.
wynterknight
I'm currently loving the Robes of the Four Elements. They don't have any actual stats, but that's easily fixable with the Winter Forge. The Wings of Velvet, mentioned above, also look really good, although I understand they don't really fit an arcane warrior; I had Wynne wear them on my last playthrough because I wanted to see them, just not on my male warrior-mage. Denis517
I'm a blood mage, spirit healer, and keeper. I wish the robes linked would be made for both origins and awakening. I would change the stats for the velvet robes, but after almost an hour of trying, I couldn't figure it out.

I feel for you; I seriously took an entire frustrating day to figure out how to make it work. It's worth it once you understand how to use it, though--the ability to assign stats to your favorite outfits, and to upgrade those outfits as you level up, is really nice. If you need help with it, I'll see if I can walk you through it.
SirensRequiem
Us femme mages require beautiful, sexy, TASTEFULL robes! So many female robe mods are just way too skimpy. I dont want my chick running around boobs all-floppin-crotch for the world to see haha. Not that I mind some cleavage but the majority of mods are so trashy for the femmes. Is it so much to ask to want a unique, custom outfit with good quality textures? I'm not talented enough to make my own! lol but yes I do really like some robes on here: wings of lilith, wings of velvet, gwof robes, I love the bethany robe but I cant get the colors to work right(kirkwall exports)
Vivid1
Most available robes are garbage, even common clothes look better than some, with exception of a few. As for robes / armor, I do have some recommendations. For Males - Chaotic Blue Armor works good for Warden or Arcane Warrior and includes optional cape which looks pretty cool. Best male armor I've seen in entire game. Armor of the Chaotic Blue - http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1329/? For Females - HSLI Sexy Robes & HSLI Sexy Outfits, both have a few semi nude armor / robes, but there are some very nice tasteful ones too. Best female armor I've seen.I have Morrigan in Princess Drakes armor with skirt and Leliana is perfect in Bianca armor and they are my favorites from these sets. Try them, you'll like it! Sexy Robes - http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1342/? Sexy Outfits - http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/3369/? Hope that helps. Edited February 4, 2015 by Vivid1
