fraquar
I'll have to find out how to do those quests for the thieves guild. Do you mean when you join the thieves guild, never bother with the main questline, but the quests I do are the small jobs given to you by some guy in the thieves guild? Also, I'm pretty sure the economics of Skyrim mod allows you to choose higher amounts of gold for merchants to carry. I think there are four or five, and it goes up to 5,000 or 10,000 (starts off at 500 more and 1000 more, IIRC). You get to choose what you want for the merchants gold amounts. Once you get your TG armor just go see Vex or Delvin for the Special Jobs in the major holds. 5 done in a hold opens up the Reputation quest for that hold, so there will be a minimum of 24 total, plus the one where you bring the Moon Sugar to the Khajiit to open up their fences. Special Jobs for Riften don't do anything other than get you a little extra gold and take some time. Like I said though, I've done this to fill in the backstory where Ulfric and Jarl Balgruuf seem convinced I have a criminal past when I talked to them. Since I never thought of myself as the criminal type (and really didn't feel like being the leader of every faction in the game) this seemed like a nice compromise. TBH, I've never felt the need for that mod even though I've downloaded it and installed it before (nothing against the quality of the mod mind you). In the end, when you start throwing around those large sums of money every trip you've already reached a point where money is basically irrelevant anyway. WatchMeGoing
"It's the other way around. Lydia can die, Mjoll can't."That's not right, they are both immortal. Friendly fire is the only thing that can kill them as far as I've found out.Lydia can technically die from anything, but enemies don't target her anymore after she goes into "bleed out" position (kneeling down), so usually it's only friendly fire that kills her indeed.Mjoll is an essential character. You cannot kill her, not even with friendly fire.
