Skyrim Imperial Interior Retexture

Hey, it's me again with more questions regarding texturing. For some very odd and maddening reason the standard method of wrapping textures using nifscope isn't working consistently. The standard method worked absolutely fine on the exterior imperial tower meshes, but the interior models don't register my edits once I've imported them into the Creation Kit. With the help of the excellent IsharaMeradin I was able to conclude that the CK was somehow reassigning the default textures over my edits. No clue why this is happening, as I renamed the new mesh and all that jazz. Anyways it seems the only way I'm going to be able to retexture these interior models is to do so inside the CK.

So here's my question, how do I get my custom textures to appear in the search window when you try to apply new textures using the creation kit?

@TheGreenLion- If I could give you another Kudos, I would in a heartbeat. I've made some considerable headway since you've helped. Here's the fruit your advice has born. To all those curious, I will be releasing these textures along with the Keep itself as a modders resource.
