DA Nexus dead?

Hi,

 

I've finally bought myself a copy of the DA and I wanted to download some mods, but after I got 2 the Nexus died and hasn't been back for hours. Is this some scheduled maintenance or some serious problem?

Thanks a lot. Though I'm highly not amused at my luck :D Wait 2 years then the exact day and exact hour that I need these things, kaboom! :D It's like the universe was trying to tell me something. Just not sure what.

It's telling you that DA is awesome, but DA2 will make you cry in your sleep.

I actually heard so much bad about it, I thought I would just play DA 1? Or is the plot continuing?

 

I've also heard that even though annoying, DA2 is still worth playing for the characters.

 

I'm torn.

 

Are there mods that make it worth playing or should I just go read spoilers after DA1 and spare myself an obvious pain? xP

I don't think anything can save DA2.

DA2 is just a different game. Some like it. Some like it more than DAO. Most don't.

 

I think BioWare would have had a lot less grief over it if they had called it "Dragon Age - Champion of Kirkwall" or something.

Anything, other than "Dragon Age II".

 

It's set in the same world, but it isn't at all a continuation of the same game.
